There are many ways to get in touch with your pleasure zone. First we need to define what is pleasure to you and where does that live.  What is the real nature of pleasure? Is it getting laid or is it getting drunk with your pals or is it something as simple as living your life with fullness? For some it could be in the heart and for others in the mind and of course for some in the sexual body. Where is that pleasure zone for you?  The body is designed to move toward pleasure and away from pain, therefore we naturally gravitate toward the things that bring us pleasure such as food, the opposite sex, movies, thrillers and so on.  Are you a person who enjoys pleasure without guilt or do you look at it with fear and resistance? The pleasure in the body has its own life and is motivated and stimulated from the outside world.  Pleasure is understood as a positive stimulation of the senses. In our world we limit pleasure to sex, food and luxury.  Whatever you experience in life has a pleasure quality to it. We generally don’t always see it because we are so padded with pain and sorrow that it is hard for it to shine through so we seek out the playboy in us to open its lid.  A clear smile is an indication that the feeling of pleasure is happening or going on at a subconscious level.  Most people would think of pleasure in terms of sexuality and touch.  Of course it exists there but we need to always have it alive even when we are not having sex. Pleasure and pain are intertwined; one cannot exist without the other.

The mind has a picture of how it sees and understands pleasure. The body memory at a cellular level is where the pleasure lives. We were born innocent without restrain but as time went on we were deprived of our authentic pleasure.  Pleasure was there in the beginning as a child. When we learn how to open up to this pleasure, sex is then not an issue.  It is not sex that brings the pleasure but the freedom of the connective tissue and cells.  Pleasure is a natural built in nutrient that is necessary for the building and maintenance of your health.

There are many ways to give yourself pleasure or cultivate its presence within.
